1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Sereni" refers to the care facility and brand operating at 31 Jalan PJU 1A/3, Ara Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
- "We / Us / Our" refers to Sereni and its staff.
- "User" / "You" refers to any person accessing this website or enquiring about or receiving services.
- "Services" refers to Sereni's care programmes: Transitional Care, Social Engagement Membership, and Comprehensive Residential Care.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with any service agreements signed upon enrolment.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
Use of our Services requires you to be at least 18 years of age, or to be acting on behalf of a person for whom you have legal authority to make care decisions.
3. Service Description
Sereni provides senior care services in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Our three programmes are described in detail on our website. Service delivery is subject to availability and suitability assessment.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services where we determine that a person's needs fall outside our clinical capabilities or safe operational parameters.
4. Service Delivery
Transitional Care Programme
This programme runs for a period agreed between Sereni and the client's family following assessment. The duration is typically two to six weeks and may be adjusted based on clinical progress. Daily rates apply as stated in the current pricing schedule.
Social Engagement Membership
Monthly and quarterly memberships are available. Membership fees are payable in advance and cover scheduled programme activities. Sereni reserves the right to adjust the programme schedule with reasonable notice to members.
Comprehensive Residential Care
Monthly fees cover accommodation, meals, personal care assistance, housekeeping, and standard recreational activities. A written service agreement is signed prior to move-in, specifying all inclusions, fee structure, and notice requirements for termination.
5. Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current programme pricing is:
- Transitional Care Programme: RM 480 per day
- Social Engagement Membership: RM 350 per month
- Comprehensive Residential Care: RM 3,900 per month
Fees are subject to change with 30 days' written notice. Payment is accepted by bank transfer and major credit cards. Sereni does not store payment card details.
6. Refund Policy
Membership fees paid in advance are non-refundable after the programme period has commenced. Where a residential resident provides written notice of departure in line with the signed service agreement, fees will be adjusted on a pro-rata daily basis for the month of departure. Deposits, where applicable, will be returned within 14 working days after departure, subject to any amounts owed.
7. User Responsibilities
When enquiring about or using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during assessment and onboarding
- Inform Sereni of any changes to a resident's health status or relevant circumstances
- Treat staff and other residents with respect during visits
- Comply with Sereni's visiting guidelines and facility rules
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and programme descriptions — is the property of Sereni or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any material from this website for commercial purposes without written permission.
9. Disclaimers
While Sereni employs qualified staff and maintains professional standards, we cannot warrant specific health outcomes for any individual. Care services are delivered with professional diligence but are not a substitute for specialist medical treatment.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Sereni's liability for any claims arising from use of our website or services is limited to the amount paid by the claimant for the relevant service period. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
11. Termination
Sereni may suspend or terminate a service arrangement if a client's needs exceed safe operational capacity, if fees remain unpaid after reasonable notice, or if there is a serious breach of facility conduct policies. Residents and their families may terminate a residential arrangement subject to the notice period in the signed service agreement.
12. Dispute Resolution
We encourage any concerns to be raised directly with our management team in the first instance. Where a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes will be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Selangor.
13. Privacy
Use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective upon publication on this page. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
